Route Explanation
This route if for those who want to visit Dongnimmun Station. First go to [Dongnimmun Station] and visit [Seodaemun Prison History Hall] at [Exit Number 5], where anti-Japanese Independence activists were prisoned. From there you can go through what ani-Japanese Indepence activists had to endure and feel the pain of losing one's country. Once touring [Seodaemun Prison History Hall], go straight to [Independence Gate] and take memorable photos. Before visiting [The Korean National Police Heritage Museum], go to [Att-Sah Bok-Mandu] and try kalguksu and Korean style dumplings. After finishing your meal, go to [The Korean National Police Heritage Museum] and tour the history of the Korean police at a glance.
Now take number [752] Blue Bus and go to [War Memorial of Korea] and take a tour of every war Korea had to go through. After that, take [Line number 4] by subway and go to [Seoul National Cemetery] in [Dongjak Station] at [Exit Number 8]. [Seoul National Cemetery] is a national cemetery to commemorate veterans who served in Korean War, Vietnamese War, and etc. Also, you can visit the grave of the Korean presidents who have passed away. Once touring [Seoul National Cemetery], go to [Dongjak Red Sky Cafe] and enjoy a cup of wine while enjoying the night view of Seoul at [Dongjak Bridge]. [Dongjak Red Sky Cafe] is located literally on the [Dongjak Bridge], so go to either [Exit Number 1 or 2] in [Dongjak Station] and look for a small house looking cafe.
Now take [Line number 4] by subway and go to [Isu Station] and visit [Namsung Sagye Market] at [Exit Number 14]. Try traditional Korean food at a traditional Korean market. Foods are really cheap and delicious, so don't try to save your money.
Now take [Line number 4] by subway and go to [Sadang Station] and eat dinner. We recommend [Gimbusam] or [Matzip Gopchang-gui] at [Exit Number 14]. At [Gimbusam], you can eat delicious Korean BBQ at a reasonable price. At [Matzip Gopchang-gui], you will be able to experience one of Korean's favoritemeal while drinking which is small intestines of cattle or pork. It is really delicious and chewy. Try it with a bottle of soju. We recommend ordering "modum Gopchang" and add whatever meat you enjoyed for additional order. Also, for both restaurant never forget to order fried rice(Bokk-Eum-Bap) at the end. Once finishing eating dinner, go to [Star Coin Karaoke] located in [Sadang Station] at [Exit Number 10], and sing your favorite song. Don't forget to bring coins and bills.
